Although it is situated in small Montenegro, the Plantaze company owns the largest vineyard in a complex in Europe, covering the surface of over 2.200 ha, planted with over 10 million of grapevines. It is situated 10 min from the airport of Podgorica or 1h 45 minutes from Kotor.

The most part grapevines belongs to the variety Vranac, originating from this area. Besides it, there is autochthonous variety Krstač as well as well known varieties in the world such as: Cabernet, Merlot, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and others. Mediterranean sun, the rock of the Ćemovsko field and waters of Lake Skadar give special, permanent quality and recognizable taste.

On the way to Plantaze wine cellars, we will have short photo stop overlooking famous St Stefan Island, the most iconic images associated with Montenegro. Attached to the coast by a narrow isthmus, the island was once a fortified village dating back to the 15th century. Today, Sveti Stefan is an island-hotel, managed by Aman resorts.

For our guests we organize lunch with wine tasting in one of the two cellars that belong to Cemovsko field – “Sipcanik” cellar. In these rooms covering cc.7000 square meters, the wine has been held and tended in almost perfect climatic and technological conditions. While enjoying the acoustic, pleasant and atypical ambience, you may learn from the wisest Montenegrin experts more about wines.

Capacity for a served lunch in one of the rooms inside the cellar is 50 pax. The capacity for a wine tasting or lunch/ tasting of local products- buffet style may be upon 500 pax. Not available on Sunday, on Saturday + 25% charge. Tour is organized for minimum 10 people and lasts about 6 hours.
